Palace safe from relegation now (though not mathematically)

Gotta say i'm pleased; its nice to see a team, that everyone had down as dead certs to be relegated, to stay up.....makes you wonder if we changed managers earlier last season, if we would have stayed up too?!

I think this season proves that wouldn't have been the case, certainly not unless Adkins had been given money to spend in January, and it would have been peanuts; although it wouldn't have gone on one game wonders like Blackman and Akpan.

I was thinking someone other than Adkins - i mean if we did it roughly when Southampton did we could have got someone more high profile and who knew what they were doing in the Premier League.

Really feel for Doncaster today. As much as we can look back to missed opportunities against the likes of Yeovil, that match against Charlton they had abandoned when they were two goals up, and subsequently lost the replay must be a very bitter pill to swallow.

Glad Colchester and Crewe survived the drop from League 1. Though Col U were pretty much safe from last week due to goal difference.
Both clubs on shoe string budgets, largely made up of decent young players.
