Is it just me that was a bit :| when I eventually saw that goal? It is a very good goal but the way it had been hyped up I thought it was going to be mind blowing

your own fault for believing hype then.

Thought Mahrez had superb vision to get it to Vardy so perfectly, and then great awareness and first time finish from Vardy. It's no GOTS obviously but still, a great goal. The sort of goal that would have had me going f*cking spazzo in the stands if I was there.

The move with all the short, quick, intricate passing would have been top quality had their forward not flopped to the floor looking for a penalty instead of trying to put it in the net.

It was :| compared to the way people were creaming over on twitter. Probably won't be goal of the month, let alone goal of the season. Was still a very good goal, but nothing I haven't seen Jamie Cureton do.

Yes

It was quality but I guess I was expecting something mind blowing. It was just a good goal. Then again I am often disappointed by things so perhaps life is never going to live up to my expectations

It was one of those "let's smash this as hard as I can and hope it goes in" goals. Still a good goal though.

Much preferred Deli Ali's goal. Took a lot more skill to control and flick over the head.

Absolutely 100% agree with you.

I was listening to the radio on way to work. Presenters were creaming themselves over it, and another station played the BBC Leicestershire radio commentary where the guy was screaming "GOAL OF THE SEASON!!!! UNBELIEVABLE... I CAN NOT BELIEVE IT" and all this stuff.

Good goal... Very good goal, but the hype made me believe it was going to be something simply amazing and unbelievable.

It wasn't too dissimilar to Danny Williams' goal against Blackburn really was it.

A better ball to create it, probably a little further out (which almost makes it easier I think), and it obviously looks better being under the lights and in a packed stadium etc etc, but basically it's a very similar goal.

Was a good goal but your right its one of those where the ball has dropped off a bounce with topspin and you known that when you smash it its gonna dip.
Lovely goal but there will be lots scored like that this season in all leagues.

That's a bit unfair on City, I think. When they've had the chance to break, they've done it in the same way as Leicester.

Leicester weathered the 40 minute storm from the goal to half time, with a mixture of skill, luck and tenacity then have murdered a city team that was trying to attack and left gaps at the back.

mahrez goal was lovely.

Bunch of Sheffield Wednesday fans in my work pub are very much not neutral for some reason.

Great stuff, really hope they win the league. About time someone broke the power of the big teams.

I've worked it out. Leicester are the aliens from Space Jam and they've taken Chelsea's powers.

Apparently they are the leading points scorers in the Premier League ever since the remains of King Richard were dug up in their vicinity.
Would one of our fans who lives in Reading mind popping round to the Abbey ruins and do a bit of digging-any help that we might get just now would be very much appreciated as the digging up of King Brian hasn't done the trick yet.

:D

My head office wallahs all hail from Leicester....so since 1989 Leicester have been my team of hate choice.......I even had to play mein-host in the companies directors box at Filbert Street once  however..... fair fuchs to them nowadays, mugging-over all teams and pundits that await their expected collapse.

Looks like Citeh fans joined Liverpools walk-out protest before Liverpools walk-out protest had even begun....mega-lolz at those loyal blue mooners
