Mr Angry Frankly, unbelievable.
3 goals in 31 Championship games last season appears to have been enough for Derby to break their club transfer fee.
Whoever Watford's DoF is should get a massive pay rise; got £2.5M out of us then £8m out of Derby for a crock of crap. Top effort by that bloke.

He is not a crock of crap though is he? Just had an awful season with us in an awful team.
Not worth 8m but in the right team will score plenty. Not convinced Derby are that team given their start mind.

Agreed. Would of loved him back at Reading but not at £8 million.

Top Flight What a monumental risk. He will be under huge pressure to perform with the weight of that price tag resting on his shoulders.
Under pressure, he couldn't perform at Reading. Let's see if he can deal with even greater pressure at Derby.

On what possible basis?!
He's the worst player to wear the hoops since Asaba

That's not true though is it!

RoyallyFcuked It does seem crazy considering his record for us. Clearly he and Derby are keen to show that was a one off.
The current situation at Derby doesn't help. They paid nearly £4m for Blackman and he hasn't even scored for them yet. The only striker at the club thats had any kind of recent form is Martin and oddly thats the guy they now seem to want to sell.
Maybe Pearson will change things there and he will find his form again but the amount of money and the pressure mean its a massive risk. He could be finished, we've seen it before where a striker has a bad spell at a new club and they never really recover, in fact they're never the same the player again no matter where they go.

Yes. See Michu.
You can all disagree with me, that's fine, but the guy hardly set the world alight at WBA. He had 2 good seasons in a good Swansea side.

He's nowhere near the front of a very long list that starts with Sean Evers, Mark Reilly and Peter Van Der Kwaak. And to be fair to Asaba, he was the least of our problems in that side.
