Snowflake Royal Personally thought that was a ludicrous red card,
Victor MeldrewURZZZZVictor Meldrew
Er... Everton away?
You can’t compare the two
On the one today, was probably a red card but I wouldn’t have given it just because of how Rudiger reacted. It’s just quite sad and pathetic how footballers act these days, they spend more time on the floor than anything else. Just ruining a good game
Those are 2 different points.
I don't disagree that the way players act is spoiling the game-they argue (rightly or wrongly) that they need to exaggerate an incident to make sure that the ref sees a foul.
When players stay on their feet they often don't get a free kick when they have been the victim of a foul.
What Son did was petulant, in the way that the idiot Beckham did the same and arguably cost us any chance of success back whenever it was.
The petulance and intent were well worth a red card.
Rudiger then doubly suffered, firstly from whatever (minor?) pain there was and secondly because he was then apparently racially abused.
Not a great afternoon all round on a day when Chelsea's football was to be admired but the level of performance will now get lost.

URZZZZ Sorry, that’s not a penalty in the slightest
It’s simple. If a player exaggerates contact, they should give it. Mahrez went down like he’s been shot. Therefore, shouldn’t be given

Wish this utterly dreadful technology would disappear.

As I said, if the Keane one at Brighton was a penalty, then so was this.
Apparently, the boots players wear now give little to no protection, so when you’re stood on it hurts (allegedly)
Players are such wimps, in general, and in the Premier League in particular

Remember the Keane one being bad but don’t remember exactly what it was for. Was it the one against Brighton?

Royal Rother Thing is, the “coming back from offside position” seemed to be what the ref signalled when he overturned the goal.
Yet another poor outcome from a VAR review. Not saying it is wrong because that’s what the technology reports but it’s just so bad for the game when it is that tight and there is no margin for error built into it.
