From Despair To Where? It's called growing up. Try it some time.

I grew up watching our dreams shattered at Wembley by Bolton Wanderers. I hope they crash and burn.

Genuinely sorry to hear that your emotional development was defined by a football match.

Have you considered counseling?

John Smith
From Despair To Where? Don't know about hope they do it because their story is a textbook lesson in what happens when you spend 15 years pissing on your own feet with reckless financial speculation but they are certainly reacting to the adversity in absolutely he right way.

stealthpapes New owners, new manager and a heavily reworked squad give this season a bit of leeway. But I totally get the historical issues - I blame the fans.

You two disgust me. It's like '95 never happened in your eyes.

what you going to do about it?

Is there a worse goalkeeper in the history of the Premier League than Roberto?
5 games
4 defeats
1 draw
12 conceded

Woeful. He's completely ruined West Ham's season. Although that's also on Pellegrini for not getting a better goalie

Is the 36 by Bolton after Accrington 7-1 Bolton Wanderers by any chance? True Bolton had a man sent off on 14 minutes, when they were 1-0 up, but to then ship seven is a bit of an achievement by any professional standard..

I give you Chesterfield 7 Reading 1; when we were 1-0 up and didn’t have anyone sent off

Circa 1980 wasn’t it so couldn’t even say it was a relegation season? Could that be another league record for Reading or has anyone else “bettered” conceding 7 from a leading position in a league game while keeping a full complement on the pitch.

Barnsley and Bolton. Thought there was a 3rd but must have got that wrong. Morecambe have let in 35 as the next worst.

On track to let in 133 goals this season - 8 shy of the record number conceded by Darwin in 1898/99.

If Project141 is to be ON! then they need to concede 89 goals in the remaining 26 games which is an average of 3.42 per game. Sounds quite doable for them tbh

If they are to do it in as few games as Darwen they need to do it in 14 more games. Darwen let 109 away from home including 3 10-0 defeats - it was their last Football League season.

Darwen were also the first club ever to be relegated - dropping from the 1st Division into the new 2nd Division in 1892 - and I believe they were the only club to be promoted and relegated via the test match series.
