There have only been 5 x 9-0 matches in Englands top flight since 1900.

One in the 1950's, one in the 1980's, one in the 1990's and 2 in 16 months for Ralph Hassenhutl

The 7 teams in Championship positions 6th - 12th have only won a total of 7 games from the last combined 35 fixtures :o

Also the 6 teams above Wycombe have won almost half their last 30 total matches

Wolves Leicester has become a painfully dull fixture

0-0 today
1-0 Leicester (penalty) last time
0-0 last year at Molineux
0-0 last year at King Power

Similar to our QPR games!

Didn't quite realise how far adrift Wycombe were, they seemed to have picked up a run of results after accumulating very few points at the start, but looks like they're dead and buried again

Logic would suggest the top 6 will be the top 6 at the end of the season, but the Championship doesn't follow logically, one good run from a team outside the playoffs will propel them straight back up, similar to Fulham in our latest PO season

Well this is troubling, and pathetic. Mike Dean and his family have received death threats on social media following West Ham's game at Fulham. If anyone who did this is caught they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent that the law allows.

I'm not one to invoke the 'well it was coming' excuse for this behaviour at all - but with football fans being a significant minority of racists, thugs and complete fcuking helmets, this sort of thing is going to happen where referees' decisions are not open to public scrutiny with PGMOL and the Premier League. We know Dean's decision was wrong, he probably realises that now, but I'd really, really like to see more public statements about controversial in-game decisions, for clarity, and hopefully to douse some of the inevitable flames.

'Mike Dean made the decision to send off Soucek because <x and y> applying law <z>. In retrospect this decision was wrong.'
And so on.

As a result, the table has squeezed up from 7th down.

Swansea have a 13 point play-offs cushion in third, and for Bournemouth in sixth it is 5 points. But below that there are just 12 points between Middlesbrough in 7th and Birmingham in 22nd.

Been a lot of these sort of incidents recently, you only have to go on BBC after pretty much any set of fixtures and you’ll find an article on a player receiving death threats/racial abuse

I get people are feeling demoralised and down at the moment and I get people want to see their team win - but what I don’t get is why people to choose in this act

(A) - I don’t understand what they’re hoping it achieves and (B) - I don’t quite think people know how much comments like that can unease/put someone down

Social media - will always argue for all the good it can bring, it simultaneously brings out the worst in people

Compare that to the Prem where after yesterday, barring a poor run, one would expect City to cruise to the title from here on, and you’d have to say the bottom 3 look doomed, again, barring a miraculous run

Personally, will always want Reading to play at the highest level possible but from a competitive experience, will always prefer the Championship

Using your statistics with respect to the Prem, the distance between 7th and 18th (I.e the highest relegation team) is 21 points with 6 games less played. Really does highlight the difference between the two leagues

Quite similar to last season isn’t it?
Need to avoid the collapse this time around
