What is the record (if PaLOLarse haven't got it) for not scoring a goal in your first x league games? And lowest goals in a season? At this rate they are looking at <10 goals and <10 points

Think lowest total for a season was Sunderland circa '09(?? Jon Stead era)

Derby got fewest goals, 20 (and points, 11  ) in the 2007-08 ( ) season.
They also conceded the most goals.

Officially the worst Prem team ever.

I can't ever remember any team in the football league's doing as bad as that, apart from Hyde fc a few years ago where I think they got 7 points or something in the conference?

Iirc it was indeed the lowest points total in all divisions since three-points for a win was introduced.
Also the only top flight team to have been relegated in March.

I remember now. It's why we always sing "worst team in history" at them

Bloody hell Wolves look good.

I know they're now basically a Portuguese training club, but its really working for them. Lots of young, fast, hungry, technically skilled players

Yea I thought that. Seems a down to earth guy, rather see him interviewed than 99% of the others who just say "yea obviously, we won and obviously at the end of the day we got 3 points and obviously we take each game as it comes obviously."

...and of course the interminable 'Yer Knows' ...

...though Danny Gabbidon got himself stuck in a dreadful cliche whirlpool last mid-week, talking about the Taffs v Oirish PO result
(sorry probs belongs in the Worst Pundit thread) :?

... I gave up counting but he definitely reached about 15 'they had a game plan' in a short interview on TalkSh!te.

Couldn't be bothered to start a new thread for this but is there a website that holds info per team for match postponements and the dates and fixtures they were for?

There’s very little in football that I get more rattled by than linesmen waiting for the ref, always in a worse position, to do their job for them. And this useless tw@ has cost Watford a goal by doing so

A proper hit by Pedro, but yeah it shouldn't have stood. All we want is consistency.

ooh, good stat that - where's it from?

Hadn't realised Cureton had left Daggers. He's at Farnborough Town this season, still going at 42.
