Glad it was Keane and Carragher facing off, Gary Neville is really starting to annoy me. He was less than honest about Manchester United in recent times. His loyalty to Ole was put before him giving his honest opinions.

The same group of supporters who were acting like Billy Big Bollocks when they were fighting for promotion whilst forgetting a few seasons earlier they didn't have a pot to piss in and played at a stadium that made Braywick Park Athletics track look like Wembley Stadium. Fcuk them.

Good to see the manager call them out on it as well.

Not that I’m defending it but just for a bit of context, they haven’t won any of their last 9 games - and you know how fickle football fans are

It’s the same problems with them that most identified, really should have got a striker in the summer as Maupay doesn’t quite cut it and Welbeck is always injured

Was ironic Neville going on about how they shouldn’t sack Ole considering how Salford operate with their policy on sacking managers!

Huddersfield fans booed their team off on Saturday after losing 2-0 to Boro, they're 8th and having a comparatively great season

Definitely think booing culture is getting way out of hand nowadays

Fwiw, Sheffield United set the record last season for longest start to a Premier League season without a win, at 17 games. Newcastle currently at 13 (joint fourth longest, with Norwich and Derby), but you'd have to say if they don't win either of their next two, they've a shout at an unwanted record.

heard yesterday that Newcastle have the same points as Derby did at this point of the season, but Newcastle are further behind 4th from bottom than Derby were

Yeah - is mainly though as in Derby's 11-point season, they won their sixth match, ironically at home to Newcastle, and had 6 points after 10 games. After which they drew 5 and lost 23.

Reckon Norwich have a genuine chance of staying up under Dean Smith, on some decent form too. If they go up to Newcastle and get an early goal it could be a very difficult night for Newcastle and a very amusing one for anybody who doesn't support them.
