Such a sad piece of news. 59 is no age.

What a player! Did so much on the pitch as well as a hell of a lot off of it for people less fortunate, sounded like a great bloke. As has been said 59 is no age at all is it.

I was too young to understand the racial context of his emergence with Batson and Cunningham, I just saw a fantastic footballer, who along with Kenny Dalglish was my favourite player. As I got older, I filled in the gaps and my admiration forvhim just grew.

I've got a soft spot for West Brom and it really stems from watching Regis and Cunningham on MOTD.

Shocking news. What a player he was for the Baggies. Scored one of my favourite goals as well. What a strike.

Andy Alleyne> Cyrille Regis, but Cyrille was nevertheless a diamond.
