of course spurs will win the league

it would be the most spurs thing ever for them to win it when no-one's there to see it

Winston Biscuit
WoodleyRoyal Fair play to Jose, clearly his defensive approach at previous clubs was just playing to strengths of the relevant clubs. With Spurs he is fully exploiting the embarrassment of attacking riches he has at his disposal. Born to win. Spurs will win the league this year.

Not sure a league win during the Covid season is really going to count as a league win anyway tbh

I don't think Liverpool fans would see it that way

Or fans of any club competing to win something this season.

Jose will get flack for his negative tactics this afternoon but he's played a blinder. A 0-0 draw away at Chelsea is a decent result.

Okay, they might actually win the league.

Yep. 4 points from City and Chelsea is excellent. Disappointing they didn't throw Bale on with 10 to go, but other than, great result.

Chelsea contributed to the dire spectacle arguably more than Spurs did

Didn’t force the issue enough, too much sideways and backwards passing, didn’t make the most of the rare occasions Spurs were out of shape. Ziyech really disappointing too

Of course, Spurs played defensively but considering how much Chelsea spent on the likes of Werner, Havertz, Ziyech, Pulisic etc, not sure they can attribute their lack of creativity too much to that, given Spurs’ defence contained Dier, Rodon and Aurier. That’s now 0 goals in 3 games against the other so called big “6” for Chelsea

Two best teams in the league imo

It was a good goal from Son but Arsenal defenders were doing what I accused Reading defenders of doing a few weeks ago.

If you back off and back off some players will score from outside the box-they might not in Divs 1 and 2 but in the Championship , and more so in the Premier League, they are quite capable of doing so.

Fair play to Mourinho, he seems to have got his Mojo back (shame) but if they were to win the league playing like that it would not be good for the game IMO.

Meh, they've beaten teams by 5, 6 and 7 so far this season and are 2nd top scorers

He's pragmatic, and gets the job done. Dare I say he is making them unspursy.

To think 5 months ago the majority of you were saying Mourinho was a spent force and never going to be a success. The bloke is a winner, he gets the job done.

Don't see Spurs winning the league but I certainly see them being top 3.

You just have at look at Spurs second string team in the Europa to appreciate the depth they have. Not sure they will win the League. I think it’s between them and Liverpool.

Given the state of their defence, on paper, I can’t see them winning but they’re still up there.

Dier, Sanchez, Aurier - how many other teams would any of those three get into, yet as a group they’re defending really well

But that's the key though isn't it. If you have a group of solid, but unspectacular defenders, over the course of the season, they're likely to out perform a defence which has 1 star player but a few much weaker players.

I think Spurs are in great shape.

Can't argue with any of that
