When I said a sash was the best kit design, that wasn't what I meant

The Huddersfield kit has to be a wind up surely - part of the "banter" launch with Paddy Power.

Would have throught that the sponsor logo breaks EFL rules and is too big?

It's just another "hilarious" publicity stunt by Paddy Power.

Yeah, we've just been having a "who knew you could make a sash kit look bad" chat in the office.

With HUFC actually wearing that monstrocity in a friendly tonight, if it is a joke, how far is it going to be taken? :?

Paddy Power are the country's biggest wind-up merchants. Massive publicity for 'em today. No way that'll be their shirt for the opening game of the season.

Because "To dare is to give away a penalty after 30 seconds" doesn't scan

Perhaps this PaddyPower thing might not be a prank as Huddersfield wore the shirts in a friendly against Rochdale.

FA are now investigating...

I think it's just a case of maximum exposure whilst they can get away with it. You can't say Paddy Power aren't getting their money's worth. Very clever marketing and very much in the spirit of Paddy Power's usual efforts IMO.

I would imagine friendlies are exempt from the rules as they are arranged bilaterally. Would expect Huddersfield to wear this shirt and magically have a new kit on day 1.

They haven't announced an away kit which likely shows this is just an effective marketing ploy and proper kits will be out soon.

I guess we’ll find out Saturday. Apparently they are going on sale then.

I genuinely hope it’s a piss take.
