The back is quite funky where they have left space for the name and number to go.

Thought this looked considerably poorer in the flesh at Wembley. Would've been a lot nicer if they'd just gone with the mosaic all over, rather than just on the front. And the collar is rubbish.

Something a little different from City.

The pattern of the Home jersey, which will be worn by the club's men’s women and youth teams, has been inspired by the famous mosaics located in the creative hub of Manchester’s Northern Quarter.

Mosaics have also been an important part of Manchester City’s proud history, stretching back almost 100 years to when the original City mosaic first adorned the gates of former Maine Road home.

Not knowing much about Manchester or City, I guess this is a nice little nod to their history.

What the smashed windows in the houses around Moss Side ?

Shame the sponsor ruins it, would be really nice otherwise.

I’m assuming that’s Nikes usual trick of selling 2 shirts, one “match” shirt at a really high price and then another which is practically identical for a normal amount.

It's obviously profiteering at its finest but people fall for it every damn year! Would love there to be a supporter wide initiative to boycott buying shirts until clubs/manufacturers bring prices down but that's never going to happen.

I do think something needs to be looked at on this subject, much like the ticket prices, I think £40-£50 is fine, if you look at it in vfm terms. Say you wear it to every home game, it’s costing you like £2 a game, which is fine to be honest, plus I know people wear it for football training and gym, etc.

I’ve not bought a shirt for years to be honest, I came close this year though as I really liked it.

Recently bought a couple for my son, got a fantastic deal on them. Got a Shalke home shirt for £6.99, RRP £55 and a Colombia home kit for £8, RRP £55. Absolute steal.

Is it the one from the 2018 World Cup? If so, that’s worth £8 of anyone’s money.
