New Kits 2019/20

by Sanguine » 01 May 2019 14:56

No Kes on the forums means no kits thread, so let's kick this off a little late. Liverpool released their new home kit a couple of weeks ago, which is an homage to the kits from the late 70s under Bob Paisley, 100 years after his birth. And it's smart, but then that dark cherry red always is. The black and gold goalkeeper kit is ace.

Standard fare from United - apparently the final design has '90 + 1' and '90 + 3' on the sleeves, and references the treble winners of 1999.

Chelsea. Just fcuking awful.

Beyond awful, even.

And Newcastle have apprently gone orange for their next away kit.

Juventus are losing the stripes, and going half and half for their new home kit.

We did bolt onto the previous year thread. But I'm all for starting a new one.

Liverpool's is nice, especially the GK.

Utd's I would expect to be a bit of darker red? :?

WTF is that Chelsea attempt all about?

I do like a good bright away kit so like the new Newcastle one, but who is the manufacturer?

Juve looks a bit odd.

Basically agreed.

I wonder if Bedale fc are going for another sausage themed kit this year?

It's a mock up of a leak - Newcastle are sticking with Puma.

Shame, I was hoping it would be a new orca themed kit supplier!

It's a new rule that's coming in to the premier league next year. All teams must have at least one bearded woman in their first team squads. Inclusive.
HTH.

Really weird. Really arrogant. Almost to rub 'the ghost of Fergie time' back in everyone's face.

feels a bit of a small time statement to me tbh. Should be something that is way beneath a club like Man Utd.

Thought the colour on the Utd leak looked a bit washed out.

Their new kit is pretty nice tbf, I like the throwback look of the badge.

New 'keeper kit is nice and different, as 'keeper kits should be.

Genuinely one of the worst shirts I have seen in a long time.

Surprised the sponsor hasn't had a copyright suit from the Discovery Channel either.

Not quite the same but very similar...

Seriously is that actually a thing or is just troll fare?

Just utterly classless in every way if it’s true.

One thing for certain keep well away from Southampton v Chelsea games. Two of the very very worst kits ever.
