Winston Biscuit Normal service resumed next season I guess for Barnsley & Rotherham as they try to swap places with each other again

LOL

Bit harsh to say this but a relatively week championship next season

There’s no way the PFA will allow their members to play 46 games in 7 days.

Was just reminded of this other spectacular home collapse from Forest

A real shame for Brentford. 7 wins in a row, and but failed to win either of their last two, one of which would have taken them up.

They simply couldn't handle any form of pressure and would be tempted to put money on them losing to Swansea as a result. The 7 straight wins was a great run but there was absolutely no pressure on them at that point - to then be faced with 2 sides they would have beaten 3 weeks ago, they choked.

If the Play-off final ends up being Cardiff-Swansea, the EFL might be pleased it is behind closed doors.

I think Swansea are a good shout to go up at 9/2. Will be full of belief after last night.

Not an up or down but the race for a CL place looks almost as interesting as the relegation battle on Sunday.

With Utd playing Leicester, all sorts of permuations:

Utd win: They and Chelsea make the CL

Chelsea win/draw: They make the CL - other spot dependent on result of Leicester/Utd

Leicester win: They qualify - Chelsea will qualify if they don't lose to Wolves

Leicester/Utd draw - United qualify - Leicester will qualify if Chelsea lose

United seem to have tailed off a bit in the last couple of games after a good run, Leicester have been awful in 2020 - so could go either way.

I can't decide if it would be funnier if Werner/Ziyech/possibly Havertz were playing Europa League football next season, or if United's 52 game unbeaten run came to and end and they stayed in 5th for the entire second half of the season.

Completely separately, in Sancho, Foden, Greenwood, Elliott, Saka and Bellingham (arguably Curtis Jones too) we have one hell of a set of young players right now.

Leeds did an open top bus parade last night

Assumed this kind of thing wasn't allowed in the current climate

Not too dissimilar to Villa’s run last season though, they went on a long winning streak to cement their playoff place and then lost the last couple of games before winning the playoffs

In fairness to Barnsley too, they seem to fare better against the top teams. Dominated Leeds away from home, drew with WBA, did the double over Fulham, beat Brentford yesterday, beat Millwall away, beat Forest on Sunday, drew to Swansea twice etc. Was against the teams around them that they struggled

As an aside, if Leicester and Chelsea finish 3rd and 4th, but United win the Europa League (which looks a decent bet), do they displace 4th or do we have five Champions League teams?

I assume the FA Cup winners only go into the Europa League, forgot how that works as it’s been City winning the FA Cup the last few years!

21 days ago the bottom 5 in the champ were Hudds, Boro, Stoke, Barnsley & Luton. None of them ended up being relegated

It is not a done deal yet, Wigan have appealed the deduction.

Wigan also face a further 15 point deduction if any new owner is unable to pay off at least 25% of monies owed to Wigan’s non football creditors

Mental, heard a Leeds fan saying on the radio that he felt the club had done the right thing as the bus was parked in one spot. No you utter, utter clown, not having a bus at all was the right thing to do :/ Ah well, covid hotspot for Leeds coming soon. The idiots.
