At this time of the season there are suddenly strange odds offered by bookies based on clubs needing to win.
A good example is tonight's game v 'Boro where our odds to win should be no bigger than evens but 2/1 is available which are big odds for any home team.

I know we are not great at home but teams like 'Boro "needing to win" need to win because the table doesn't lie, they are where they are because they are not very good.
This is great value for money for a punter-we may not win but a bet is value because in putting on £20 to get a return of £60 the bet should really cost around £30 to get £60 back.

I do think that Wigan at 5/6 at home to Hull should be about 1/2-in their game BOTH teams "need to win" so it will be interesting to see how that pans out as a draw wouldn't help either team much.

So I have just put the mockers on both Reading and Wigan-sorry.

Skybet odds on promotion

2/1 Brentford
5/2 Watford
5/2 Norwich
10/3 Bournemouth
4/1 Swansea
9/2 Cardiff
9/2 Forest
6/1 Derby
13/2 Boro
13/2 Preston
13/2 Stoke
15/2 Blackburn
15/2 Coventry
15/2 Hudds
9/1 Barnsley
9/1 Bristol City
9/1 Millwall
10/1 Birmingham
11/1 QPR
11/1 Reading
11/1 Wednesday
12/1 Luton
14/1 Rotherham

Really surprised at Bristol City there. Would have thought they would be a good shout for top 6

Brentford won't be near the top next season. They'll lose the stars

Aberdeen got 8 players out of the match at St Johnstone on Saturday. Managed to hit a few SSBT’s before they removed the match. Betfair market lively :D

Just backed PSG for tonight over 90 minutes.

21/10 with Paddy Power.

Odds seem decent.

I do realise that Bayern put 8 ( eight ) past Barcelona last week, but PSG have some very good players.

Or a bet?

Asking for a friend.

Wigan to get relegated at 9/2 looks massive.

I've done a L15 of
Brighton to be relegated - 10/3
Wigan to be relegated - 9/2
Reading to be promoted (lol) - 25/1
Grimsby to be promoted - 9/1
£1 stake pays £10k.

Norwich, Pompey & Salford to be promoted - £5 returns £132

Got 2/3 last year and it went down to the wire so hoping to get it over the line this time

Were you able to cash out on it at any point for a profit?

It was there as an option to cash out all season until lockdown when they froze that. The cash out value only went up to around £20 from a £5 bet at that point though.

I had Fulham, Plymouth and Peterborough. The latter were in 6th and on great form but the PPG thing bumped them down to 7th as Wycombe moved up.
