He has had since the world cup to announce this, Its almost as if Lampard has been told he wont be picked for the next squad so is pretending it is all his choice

I hope he watches the film of himself and feels thoroughly ashamed. He scored the equaliser on the volley in the last ten minutes and he didn't celebrate. This is literally the worst thing about modern football. Denis Law has a lot to answer for.

I actually thought both sets of fans showed some class in relation to Lampard today; Chelsea fans were obviously going to give him a great send off, but fair shout to the City fans who realised the significance for the bloke and so didn't get all tribal about a player being "disloyal" to them when he is only on loan for a few months.

I don't care what the City or Chelsea fans think, how is Pat's ghost going to feel?

It's a shame people get so eggy about not getting the result they wanted, especially when they've flouted the FFP rule.

According to SSN this morning, Chelsea were the 37th PL club that Lampard has scored against. iirc Shearer, Cole and I think Henry had the next highest tallies.
