Clearly you know nothing about football

Knuckleballs are extremely hard

Ah, the old I know nothing argument - touche.

Not saying they aren't hard - still stand by my view that sort of goal could just be scored by anyone as there is a large amount of hit and hope about it - naturally a professional will do it much much more but there is a hell of a lot out of his control i.e. he can't control when the dip will begin, just that it will dip - just prefer my free-kick goals to have a bit of guile about them - prefer a great routine rather than a hit - would take say, Meite's goal at Bristol a couple of seasons back over that one.. So yeah, nice but, for me, a bit meh.

My Favourite ever freekick tacker is juninho pernambucano

he was the king of that kind of long range free kick for a few years, but there was a deffo a lot of hit and hope with him. Read before that he took sh*t loads of ones that ballooned off into the crown to get his goals

12 wins in 13 for Barca - and only one team has stopped them scoring at least twice in a game since 3rd January. Messi has 16 goals in his last 11 games. La Liga looks like being mighty close this season.

A shock in the Scottish Cup - Highland League's Brora Rangers beat Hearts 2-1, and despite having not played a match since January with their season cancelled owing to COVID.

5th place Dortmund lose to 4th place Frankfurt. Looking very difficult for Dortmund to qualify for Champions League football now.

Lille beat PSG to go top by 3 points. Monaco only 1 behind PSG in 3rd. If Lyon win tonight they would go level with PSG. Proper 4 horse race for the title with 7 games left!

And Neymar was sent off for some more twattery

That's 3 reds in his last 14 PSG games

..... surprises continue to abound in the SuperLiga

Gala beaten again on Saturday, so failing to make up ground on leaders Besiktas, who are rather surprisingly beaten today at lesser local Istanbul rivals Kasimpasa.

Galatasaray fell 0-3 at Hatayspor - from the historic southern city Antakya formerly known as Antioch (bit of culture their ladies  ) - two goals from Mama Biram Diouf - Senegalese striker formerly on the books of Blackburn and Stoke.

At the other end which appears to have twists in every round of matches, both Ankara clubs pick up much needed wins and Basaksehir can also breathe slightly easier, after a win now takes them clear of the bottom four.

Tomorrow (Mon) Fenerbahce in 3rd can move closer to their Istanbul rivals above them if, as would be expected, they can overcome bottom club Denizilspor.

Auf geht's Eintracht.

Massive win at Dortmund on Saturday puts Frankfurt 7pts clear of 5th with 7 to go in the race for the Champions League.

Title race is over though as Munich win in Leipzig to open up a 7pt gap.

Since the start of last season, Robert Lewandowski has 97 goals and 18 assists in just 83 games for Bayern.

Obscene figures. Such a shame we never got to see him week in and week out over here, reckon he would have had a field day in the Premier League.

Clip on BBC website of MOTD2 where they are talking about whether Kane should leave Spurs. Ian Wright (Wright Wright) says 'he is up there with Lewandowski, just look at his stats!'

**checks stats**

Harry Kane - 19 goals in 28 PL games
Lewandowski - 35 goals in 25 Bundesliga games

Marcelo Bielsa researched and found out the average Leeds fan works 3 hours to pay for a ticket.

He then made all his players pick up litter from around the training ground for this time.

This was as he wanted them to appreciate how the fans laboured to fulfil their passion.

Class act.

Not sure why there was litter around the training ground to begin with. If the players are dropping litter they should be picking it up regardless.
