Metz survived in French top league, despite some horrific results.

One match to go, they are 14th (not bad), but GD -32 and 71 goals conceded from 37 matches.

Last day of the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Massive game in Hamburg as they take on Wolsburg, with the loser likely set to face the relegation playoff - probably against Eintracht Braunschweig (who lost 6-0 to relegation threated Bielefeld this weekend).

If Hamburg win, and Augsburg lose by 2 more goals than Wolfsburg then they could drop in to danger. Mainz could also drop in but looking at an 8 goal swing for that to happen.

At the top Hoffenheim and Dortmund are head to head going for 3rd spot and automatic CL qualification. However, with the possibility that Leipzig could be barred from Europe then 5th could be worth a CL spot.

Promoted Freiburg need a win to guarantee European football next season despite having a GD of -15!

Leipzig 4-5 Bayern Munich.

Bayern equalised on 90 minutes and won it on 95.

Why would leipzig be banned?

As Winston mentioned - Red Bull own RB Salzburg who are Austrian Champions. UEFA rules prohibts 2 clubs owned by the same company from competing in the CL/EL together.

UEFA will review the applications to compete when they receive them but could stop Leipzig from competing.

Chances are though there will be some loophole that means that UEFA considers the clubs to be clearly separate and both will be allow to play.

Why does it have to be leipzig that gets banned? Is it because Salzburg won or will win their league?

Amiens were down in 6th place on the live table until they grabbed a 96th minute winner and went up as runners up.

Mental. I love how they bought the table up in the corner and they were not even in the top 5

1860 Munich drop into the 3rd tier for the 1st time in 25 years after losing the play-off to Regensburg who seal their 2nd promotion in as many seasons.

Game was held up for 15 mins as the 1860 fans started throwing seats on to the pitch to try and get the game called off.

1860 now have to move out of the Allianz Arena as the sharing agreement with Bayern is only valid if they are in the top 2 divisions.

Further to this, the owner of 1860 refused to pay the licence fee to play in the 3rd tier, so they drop down to the 4th tier Regionalliga. The whole squad has been released and they will likely start the season with a squad made up of their U19 and U21 sides.

The Regionalliga consists of 5 regional divisions. The champions of each division, plus the runner up in the largest division, play off for the 3 promotion places. Very hard to escape from the Regionalliga once you find yourself there.

They will get a derby against Bayern though, well Bayern Reserves.
