Sanguine Kolo Toure to Liverpool on a free this summer, apparently. Will be the first player over the age of 24 that Rodgers has signed for the club.

He's been pretty shit for about 5 years now, didn't think a mid table club would come in for him tbh.

Stefan Jovetic rumoured to be joining Arsenal in a £24m deal

Is he "that" good? (genuine question)

He was very good at Arsenal, signed for City for £12m or so, but has struggled to find his way back into the side since his drugs ban.

He's a quality defender, and as a free transfer, and with Carragher retiring, it's a bit of a no-brainer for Liverpool really.

Paris Saint-Germain have opened negotiations with Wayne Rooney with a view to bringing the England international to the French capital this summer, L'Equipe reported on Wednesday.

Monaco have signed Porto midfielders Joao Moutinho, 26 and James Rodriguez, 21, for a combined fee of £60m.

Bloody hell. Moutinho was Spurs' number one target, they won't be pleased about that. Why is there so much money in the French game all of a sudden?

Being reported that there was a heavy sell on clause (around 25%) for Moutinho that Sporting Lisbon were in line for, the combined €70M deal was agreed at €69M for Rodriguez and €1M for Moutinho to help Porto keep the money.

Good signing. He wont get their hearts racing but he's a decent defender. Better than Liverpool bringing in Toure.

I really like him, think he could do very well for them. £9M being reported.

It's a sign of Liverpool's ambition I'd say signing a player that can't get into the first team of a club regularly competing in the Champions League.

I think he's been massivley hyped up, another Arsene signing who's better at passing than defending.

Not if Kaiden Alenko has anything to say in the matter.

Interesting if Williams does end up at the Arse - Mertesacker and Koscielny had a great end to the season and Vermaelen's been linked with Napoli, so this signing would probably be the end of him at the Emirates.
