Spurs sign Seattle Sounders RB DeAndre Yedlin (of USMNT fame) for £2.5m. He will remain with the Sounders for the remainder of this season and join Spurs for the 2015-2016 season.

As you didn't bother to explain last time - why the Forster hate? He looks brilliant.

I genuinely think it is almost impossible to tell how good a player is in the SPL as the standard of football there is so abysmal.

Take an average goalkeeper in the PL, maybe even someone a little 'unproven' like Fabianski, I think they would look like an absolute world beater in Scotland when up against St Johnston and Motherwell each week

Spanish press claim Atletico are negotiating a transfer fee with Chelsea for Schurrle and a deal is very likely to go through.

Their press are fairly unreliable though. Would be surprised if Chelsea let him go tbh, maybe not a regular starter but always looked decent when I saw him.

+1. Look at the "Magnificient Seven" we signed all those years ago, all from a variety of Scots Prem clubs iirc and most couldn't cut it in (the now) League One - I appreci8 there's far more recent examples of that. Going the other way, the likes of Hooper going from Scunthorpe to Celtic, an ageing Hartson struggling in English football going to Celtic and scoring hatfulls, Samaras struggled in English football and then scored hatfulls for Celtic.

Kris Boyd - became the highest scorer since the start of the SPL at the age of 25, 6 months later he joined an average Boro side in tier 2 after no PL clubs wanted him, he scored 6 goals, was sh*t and got loaned to Forest, was even more sh*t and joined a rubbish Turkish team where they only played him twice, joined some American no marks, scored 7 goals and they cancelled his contract, went back to Scotland and he is banging the goals in ending up 1 goal away from being the League's top goalscorer

Could see this being a goer - Mourinho made noises about Moses moving on earlier as they have a lot of wingers, but then said they need to shift a foreign player and he could stay if one of the foreign wingers goes.

Fraser Forster suffering from that well known condition where a player is ahead of Alex Mccarthy in the pecking order so Reading fans criticise him constantly even for things that aren't his fault known as "Federici syndrome".

Sorry mate.............

I don't devote my every waking hour to HNA, nor do I work in an office, where my working day is interspersed with providing you with all of the cliquey "nobbing" requisites...... I just simply missed your question.

No Forster hatred....just £10m for a keeper?..............and not even a "top" one

just :|

Benfica president confirms that Atletico Madrid have made a cash + player offer to them to buy Nico Gaitan. The odd part is that he says the player they are offering is Jan Oblak, who Atletico bought from Benfica 4 weeks ago

lolwut!

Esteban Cambiasso in talks with Leicester. :o

hardly at the top of his game anymore but still, just one of those (potential) transfers that happens every so often where the status and image of club and player are so far apart it just seems odd and never looks right

yeah that one fits the bill. Scoring in the Champions League final then moving to Boro to play alongside the likes of Craig Hignett and Marcus Flemming

Claudio Canniggia at Dundee
