Project Billericay Town continues - Jamie O'Hara and Paul Konchesky joined at the club by Jermaine Pennant. They are 1/10 to win the Isthmian Premier League this season.

genome Game's gone

The Man United friendly at the weekend sums it up nicely.

Looks like the lines woman has taken a 10 inch yellow dildo out with her. Mind you with Manure playing she was probably expecting a quiet game tbf :D

Hoop Blah I quite liked watching Norwood play, especially his early days when he was a refreshing change to the type of midfield play we'd seen for some time. He was like a poor-mans Simon Osborn but didn't quite have the end product.

A decent player and always seemed like a good lad too.

Agreed
Don't understand the haters

Never anywhere near as good as he was hyped to be. You need application and dedication to succeed in football, and whilst I've no specific reason to suggest Kuhl doesn't have those attributes to some extent, that he struggled even to get a game in Scotland, and then couldn't get a league team to loan him, suggests he isn't the boy-wonder Adkins thought he was.

Fully expect him to drop football altogether at some stage to pursue other career opportunities - an idea he was toying with a while ago. Is a bright kid and lost a lot of his passion for the game after a string of injuries.

Surely football can now officially be declared both morally and financially bankrupt!

At the top end of the sport, yeah.

I adore football as a sport, but this summer has really dented my love for the high end of the game. Normally I don't give a fcuk about the money aspect but this transfer window has just been vulgar.

Imagine leaving a club like Barcelona because they have better players than you and you want to be the main man, only to go the French League

It will all go pop, and clubs like ours will rise.

Certainly reveals the greedy players. There's no case to be made for Neymar going there other than purely for money.

They wont turn down that money to keep an unhappy player.

Ive been to watch Barcelona 6-7 times in the last two years and he's always been way behind Messi, Suarez and Iniesta as far as talent goes,.

There is a case, in that he wants to show that he can do for PSG what Messi an Ronaldo have done for Barca an Real Madrid.

I'm not suggesting the move isn't motivated a lot around the money on offer but i think it's probably as much an ego trip as that, and a wish to show that he can make a side.

I don't disagree - but it's a big leap for the sake of 15 CL games a season. They are already the best side in France (Monaco's one-off not withstanding).

Maybe so, but what's he got to gain by staying at Barca and always playing second fiddle to Messi (and potentially Suarez).

The CL is where reputations are made these days.
