Jim Royal So you're criticising Emanalo for stating a fact?

He's won the Premier League = FACT
He's got Champions League experience = FACT

What do you think he'll add to your midfield?

Drinkwater for Chalobah

Actually, when you put it like that it makes sense but
I'd be a bit whelmed if I was a Chelsea fan tbh...

Many players haven't. Why pick on Gerrard?

Sorry to offend. Maybe I should have picked Gokhan Inler, oh no he's won the Premier League too. Erm, I'll get back to you with another player who hasn't won the PL.

Juan Mata?

nope...he's only won the World Cup/European Cup/CL/FA/League_cup

Kes logic =

Van de Gooew won Champions League. Must be better then De Gea.

David May won Champions League. Must be better then Kyle Walker.

But as stated previously. Given Chelsea's 10th place in the 2015/2016 season and 'only' bringing in 'panic buys' of Alonso and Luiz in the summer most people were underwhelmed then. Also, Conte was also a genius at putting Moses at RWB when most people thought he was leaving the club.....

Nowhere have I given that logic. All I said was Drinkwater won the PL and Liverpool or Gerrard haven't. I didn't say Drinkwater was/is a better player than Gerrard. You've just made that up in your head DD.

I'm mostly agreeing with you, Jim.

I'm interested to see how Conte does now that he has
changed the team to be noticeably different from Jose's

What are you thoughts on Reading's transfer window, Jim?

Happy to invite you, a Reading fan, over to the main part of the forum to discuss this.

It isn't a point. It's a fact.

You have got to be absolutely sh1tting us on this. You are saying that Danny Drinkwater is better then Steven Gerrard

No. I'm saying Drinkwater won the Premier League and Gerrard didn't.

Do you think any player in a team who win a competition, is better than a player who has never won that competition?

Would you say Mario Gotze is a better player than say Lionel Messi or Gareth Bale?

Do you think that if Steven Gerrard had chosen to move clubs, he could have won many more medals, possibly earned a lot more money...and that maybe that was not his biggest priority?

Can you think of any club where the team is better than the sum of its individual players?

Can you think of any player who has been outstanding when playing for one team, and after a transfer they become, if not useless, then ineffective, for another team?

Mateja Kezman.

In fact, almost every import from the Eredivisie.

Undoubtedly ^^ good suggestions....I am hopeless at names, wasn't there a ?Spanish player a few years back, used to wear a silly headband instead of a decent haircut- went for a shit load of cash from ? Liverpool, to somewhere like ?Chelsea (or the other way) and went from scoring every game almost, to being, well, I don't even recall the name now....

Might be a bit of a culture shock for him.

Sao Paulo, Sevilla, Madrid, London, Rome, Malaga, Belo Horizonte, Orlando... Bolton.

Not sure what the fuss is - they missed the deadline, it's not like it came out the blue they knew when it was.
