Old Man Andrews Aston Villa splash the cash to sign Matty Cash from Nottingham Forest for around £15m. Good player.

We should take notes on his performances to see how he is doing, to see if he performs well enough to get a trip to the Euros.

Forest must be laughing all the way to the bank though.

Messi is staying at Barcelona. What a little twerp.

Ronaldo is a better footballer than him and a better man. End of discussion.

+1

In my lifetime, Ronaldo is the best football I've ever seen. Messi just comes across as a bit of a big time arrogant Charlie in a great team with players around him (dinho, xavi, iniesta etc) who have helped him look good in a piss poor league.

Ronaldo has done it at every team he has been at in every country and on the international stage. Messi hasn't.

I'm unsure if Ronaldo is the best player ever as I haven't seen many of the older greats in a different era. Even though he is the best I've seen, my favourite player ive seen is Dennis Bergkamp. Just thinks like a chess player and total class.

Henry is the best I've seen live. He is the only player I've seen rip Reading to utter shreds.

You can't have been to many Reading games.

Have you only ever been to the Mad Stad to watch Reading play Arsenal?

Victor Moses and Marlon King are just two names that spring to mind!!

Jamie Cureton and Jason Roberts in the same game.

Similiarly recall the combo of Glen Little and Robbie Blake frequently shitting on us for Burnley.

Yeah that time Victor Moses tore us apart when he was at place really sticks in my mind  wasn’t he 17 or something at the time? He pace was frightening.

I don’t think Henry ripped us apart, it was more the entirety of that Arsenal team on that day.

Yeah - not sure who was playing right back at the time for us but they were having a torrid time. It was wave after wave of attacks all coming from Moses - real stand out performance. You dont see many games like that where someone just stands out. Nathan Redmond was another but that was away at Birmingham, last day of our championship winning season.

Off the top of my head Victor Moses appearance that day was the only time I have seen an oppo players get a (semi) standing ovation

Also off the top of my head, I'm pretty sure Martial ran us ragged a few years back in the Cup at Old Trafford

Ah see, that doesn’t count as we were all on the piss, even the players

I've never understood the amount of flack he gets, he's a top, top striker. Seemed like an easy target for United supporters during their really bad recent seasons.

However, his record is punctuated with getting the third and fourth in big wins in bigger proportion to the winners in tight games.

Sanguine Chelsea likely to add Kai Havertz

Signed yesterday. There is a lot of hype around him but I haven’t really seen him play.

Chelsea are going to be really interesting to watch this season.
