Smoking Kills Dancing Doe A love Doyler to bits, but if he goes to Arsenal it shows just how far Wenger's transfer policy is off the mark.
Like I say, I love Doyle, but he is not a top 4 player.
Pretty sure we took straight up cash over sell on clauses.

MessiahTBM Its no secret that Villa want Doyle - as do Everton & Birmingham. Why you think Wolves would let him leave for a loss of £1.5m is a mystery, considering he's been one of their best players this season - plus he's only 26 years old, an Irish international and still has about 10 years left in him........Anything less than £10m for Doyle and Wolves wont accept - they have no need to.
I didn't know for certain what he was sold for, so in that case, £6.5m is about his top value. He hasn't hit the net regularly this season, again, but is a worker, and is an asset. Just because you say Villa have shown interest previously doesn't mean they'd be prepared to spend £10m on someone who isn't a regular goalscorer at that level.
I cannot see how anyone can value him at £10m when he doesn't have the scoring record to back it up.
Messiah You're still "assuming" those clubs are interested in him. You don't know they are, so as I have an opinion on value, and you have your opinion on his interest. I just don't see anyone willing to pay £10m for a striker that isn't consistent at that level.

Wimb It wouldn't be a bad move to be honest. Doyle is the type of player that can just work his socks off for 90 minutes and take a chance if given it. Sure he's not anywhere near RVP but as others have said he's better then Eduardo and Bendtner and would do well in those Arsenal games where teams just try and park the bus.

Smoking Kills Dancing Doe Walcott and RVP are never fit though.
I'm actually starting to worry that Walcott is not gonna make it. It's just injury after injury.
Arsenal won't win the league without getting at least one world class striker in.

Smoking Kills Dancing Doe Not blaming Arsenal at all, you'd have to be some kind of retarded bigot to do so.
