AthleticoSpizz No accounting for taste etc.

Echoing the good luck sentiments....on the off-chance of all three winning their ties, then a local team Wembley trip is on on on.

Bracknell have the bigger fan base and better set up so hopefully it's them.

Plus, any team playing Barry Hayles doesn't deserve it. He's a pure marketing ploy, as is the awful kit.

Bracknell lost after a disappointing performance at home to Marske. Marske are a good well organised team that Bracknell just couldn’t break down and as the game went on Bracknell became less and less effective but to be fair Marske look the sort of side that wouldn’t be too out of place at step 4

Windsor also out after Stockton got the better of them

Thatcham still flying the Hellenic flag after a 1-0 win at Melksham which must give Bracknell and Highworth a little bit of joy in the chase for Hellenic promotion.

Bracknell lose infront of 1200 fans.

Can't see another club at that level in the area getting a crowd like that. Will certainly make them more 'sustainable'

Perhaps I'm wring, will check. Still a great crowd.

Lots of RFC there.

Decent performance from Windsor but Stockton were better than us in all areas. We lost all the battles really.

Big crowd but so very strange. They made not a peep all game. When they made their substitutions about 20 people capped. When they scored there was nothing much more than a momentary roar and a quiet round of applause.

We sang long and hard. Good performance from the 100+ Windsor fans. An enjoyable but ultimately disappointing day.

The Stockton fans we nattered with were all first class.

On to Woodley away on Monday night. Yay! :|

Did they have a budget larger than yours which is unsustainable?

Don’t know to be honest but whatever Stockton’s budget Windsor, despite being a bit outclassed on the day, put up a decent battle away from home on a 3G pitch which gives a distinct advantage to the home team, and were far from battered.

Thatcham had a splendid away win.

Bracknell lost 3-0 at home.

It would be great to see Thatcham make the final.

Glen tamplin said on Thursday that if his team lose to a team like Wealdstone he will sack himself. They lost 5-2 and he has stepped down

Went to Melksham 0-1 Thatcham.

Big crowd of 2,208. Terrible game, Melksham packed the midfield and Thatcham just looked a bit scared to lose. Although as the game wore on they did look the most likely to score, which they did on 89.

Despite the large crowd the atmosphere was also strangely quiet. Maybe just a lot of neutrals in attendance at these games?

Windsor have just signed 3 players, all of whom have been playing at a higher level.... ex RFC Curtis Ujah who I saw playing for Chesham a couple of years ago. Class at that level so should eat up the Hellenic.

Ex Burnham (when they were very decent) and Chesham striker Ryan Blake, and ex Maidenhead captain who has also been at Slough Town this season, Mark Nisbet.

With fixture build up likely to make it very hard for our very young and very old squad to get through the season unscathed these may just be short-term signings to bolster the squad for a couple of months but all 3 should be a cut above most players in the league.

Is that sustainable on the Windsor budget?
