I think this is interesting as it shows Reading are still looking to bring players in despite the public comments.....
From an Aston Villa employee (I live in West Midlands), Reading made a request this week to sign Fabian Delph (Ex Leeds winger) on loan, the offer was declined by Villa, but thought it worth the mention....

He's a center mid. But apart from that, he'd be a good signing and we can ship tabb out. Can't see it happening as he won't get many minutes with 3 players as regular center mids ahead of him.

I would be quite happy with this, a young player who needs to prove himself and whose career seems to have gone backwards.
