For crying out loud try Pog and Alf (I love JR but he has never set the pl alight) Guthrie, Pearce and Morrison together. Tabb and Legs are championship players. We have been found out. Our squad with virtually no exceptions is champ standard. Whatever team we put out is trying its nuts off, and nobody has murdered us yet. But as we spend longer and longer in and around the relegation zone it's sure to happen.

I think there should be a rule.

Any manager who takes a team up (especially as unexpectedly as Brian managed it) should be allowed the honour of managing a whole season in the prem at least. That should be the reward at the very least. He earned it.

Even if we're 20points adrift at the bottom of the table, Brian needs to stay. That is if the board have any moral fibre. Which they do I believe.

Malky Mackay - Always has an Impact, plays good foorball
Poyet - Plays good football, a possibility
Hughes - Good with smaller clubs with less funds. Only has one bad job behind him
Dick - Record speaks for itself
Dolan - Served his time at the Academy, known for playing nice, progressive football with a passing 4231 formation
Chris Powell - Roberts would be happy
Curbs - Fantastic PL experience with similar sized clubs - 3 years is nothing to be out of the game with his experience.
A european - Plenty of those.


Whoever we get doesn't HAVE to have had PL experience in the past. A lot of the managers managing in the Prem now didn't before and are making a good name for themselves now. Just look at Clarke, Moyes, Laudrup, Rodgers, Pardew and Houghton. As long as the philosophy is right and they know what they're doing, they can do a great job IMO.

It's all about picking the right man, charecter and philosophy regardless of PL experience.
