One of the post match pundits on R5L last night suggested we might be in for Townsend. He has been linked with QPR this window (who hasn't?!). Not sure about him - plays on the wing but never established himself at WHL - 8 loans spells in 3 years!

Was listening to bbc radio 5 live last night after the match.
Regarding the player who Mcdermott says is 50/50, can't remember who it was but one of the guys on the show thought that player could be Townsend of Spurs.
Thoughts on this do you think he will add anything to our team?

I might be wrong but I think he played for Spurs against us at the Mad Stad back in September.

Barry the bird boggler I might be wrong but I think he played for Spurs against us at the Mad Stad back in September.
It was his prem debut

Didn't even get out of his car at QPR after the deal was cancelled and he shot off, heading west, out of their carpark.

not now....deals off...seems he is heading somewhere else....Look out for a white Range Rover.

Oh wow! He turned up to the medical centre in his Range Rover, didn't get out the car and drove off with QPR saying the deal is off!
Rumour is his agent cocked up and sent him to the wrong team in blue and white hoops.
