Yes yes yes, for £1.5m it seems like a no brainer.

Pepe the Horseman *year

Years - we had to sell the likes of Doyle after that season while players like Hahnemann, Bikey, Matejovsky were wasted. We didn't prepare for the years following under Coppell and ended up with Simon Church up front.

Anyway, back on topic, Vaz Te is quality although I'm not sure where he fits into our current squad.

Mong:

Adj. Lacking in physical and cerebal ability. General retardation.
Generally: a total spastic

(Mong)- Slang for spastic, but used against a person who says or does something completely idiotic by accident or without realisation. This makes every witness simultaneously raise their hands to their shoulders and shake 'em while sticking their tongue in their lower lip and making 'urrgh' noises.

Pretty much sums it up

I have liked the look of him whenever I have seen him play but his scoring record is very average and he did not step up to PL level so I would prefer we brought in a younger player who has more longer term potential.

Quality striker, tricky feet, not sure what he's like at holding up the ball and bringing others into play. Bad attitude that's held him back at a few clubs now.

Tokyo Sex Whale Looking in to it a bit more he scored 36 goals in 66 appearances for Barnsley and West Ham in the Champ.

His PL campaign was a bit of a disaster, only scored 3 in 24 apperances and missed a sitter against us. He did dislocate his shoulder which kept him out for three months too.

The more I think about it, the more I think he would thrive here. A new challenge, with Adkins approach, being fed by Drenthe and Kebe.

Goals and exciting football.

Got any links to his attitude causing issues? Don't doubt it at all but never heard of it. Don't associate him with being a problem player.

Just hear-say from West Ham and Bolton fans.

What about Nolan's reaction to it? That made scoring our 4th even sweeter.
