Dmitry Rybolovlev Takeover
It was reported in the media a couple of months ago that Dmitry Rybolovlev the co owner of Monaco FC was looking to invest in ReadingFC and take a 20% stake in the club. However the latest rumour is that he has formed a consortium and is looking to take full control of the club. Has anyone else heard anything about this, or is this another non event/rumour?

it is a bit weird that reading always needs a consortium to take over, we must be a mammoth job or something
Our current owners are the only consortium to own the club.

So it's all looking good for another shambLOLes of a summer then with no-one knowing what the hell is going on behind the scenes at the club. That'll make getting permission to spend ANY money about as difficult as it is to get.
At this rate I think next season will be a complete write off before a ball is even kicked.

A multi-billionaire putting together a consortium to be a mess of a Championship football club, seems legit to me.. And as long as SJM and Nigel Howe are around, we wont be sold out for a third time..

The first part of bluerinse's statement is correct and Dmitry's apparent wish to buy 20% of the club was reported in the media (l'equip i think). The second part is just rumour and without known source as far as I am aware, but if it is reported elsewhere please can simeone provide a link

Tbf I'd be surprised if he has the time to do that with a champions league final on the cards
