Rumour: Howard Wilkinson (Director of Football)

by John Smith » 12 May 2016 10:16

In adversity often comes positivity and this could well be the case for The Royals after football guru Howard Wilkinson was seen dining in Carluccio's with the Thais late yesterday afternoon.

A great footballing man who enjoyed great success at both Leeds and Sunderland to name but two, could his knowledge and connections lead us back to glory. We can only wait and see...

Didn't Wilkinson sell Eric Cantana for a million to Man Utd?

He did, but you couldn't really blame him too much at the time. Cantona was a mentalist, rotten apple and was on a poor contract. Who could have known how great he'd go on to be.

Probably one of my favourite all time PL players.
