Not sure he would be a good buy, as he is not consistent enough. If the club is to spend that sort of money (big if) they could buy 2/3 decent players for the sums mention.

Wouldn't disagree with you on that.

No thanks .. different position I know but out of all the loanees from last season would rather we signed Fernandes .. especially if Norwood is on the move.

No thanks. Not at anything like that price. He was part of a team that performed poorly and he didn't look to be an improvement on any of the others in the squad.

As to Alex, he couldn't even get in the team for 90% of the season. What possible evidence is there that he'd add anything!?

Dear Mr New Manager. Sorry there is no budget for you to build your team to help you keep your job as our football "experts" have splaffed it all on paying off your predecessor and buying the completely consistent (honest guv) Ola John.

Not sure who's writing this drivvle possibly his agent ! £4m (or €6m) is simply fantasy ... As for wasting money on Sa, he looked a reasonable signing until BM took over ..

He's got potential, and who knows how we'll want to play next season now. Under McDermott we weren't looking like using wingers but maybe that'll change.

No way he's worth 6 million Euros for us though. Not even half that. He's too big a risk, bags of talent yes, but not enough application or team ethic to justify what'd have to be the vast majority of our transfer budget.

Though I agree, in our current state, 6M Euros is madness I wonder this

Could someone take Ola John and turn him into a fit, hard-working winger (he already has great ability)
and make him worth 10M UK Pounds or more?

I seriously doubt if this will happen, but we could do with an individual match-winner

€6m for a player that could barely get a start for a pretty terrible Reading side. Looking forward to the €12m bid for Andrew Taylor.

He looked a reasonable signing for one game (maybe two if you include Brentford away) in the rest he got sent off for a stupid headbutt and was more wasteful than Kermogant.

A rare +1

Never did and never will understand the Sa love.

So reading that we could buy him for the pre agreed 8M euro's (as if reading ever agreed that LOL) or snap him up for the 6M euro's that Benfica are happy to see the back of him for. Difficult one....
Answers still no.

Well it may have been that we had an agreement that if we were to put in a bid for 8m then they had to accept - no harm putting that in the loan agreement from our perspective.
