Uhm.. Yes please.. Proven goalscorer on loan? Hopefully not passed it like the Yak. Would be a tidy bit of business..

Gyan's dad last year:

According to him, he was extremely shocked when his son announced he had just turned 30. He therefore advised the public not to pay attention to what his son said because there’s no iota of truth in it.

“Don’t mind him. He’s just saying what he feels. Actually, he turned 30 ten years ago. I know what I’m talking about because I gave birth to him. This is a clear case of the Cedi – Dollar relationship. I have no idea why his ‘football age’ keeps depreciating against his real age like that. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) must set up a commission of inquiry to critically look into this,” Mr Kwaku Gyan said.

According to him, he nearly took the microphone from Asamoah to announce his real age during the event.

“I couldn’t help it when he announced he was 30. I got up on my feet, wanted to walk up to him and tell him to speak the truth

Mr Gyan later denied saying any of this and in his rant he gave the names and ages of his 4 children stating he knows it well and they are all 3 years apart. A newspaper later pointed out that Mr Gyan had got the age wrong of another of his sons in his rant.

Impressive claim that Mr Gyan gave birth to his son.
I suspect Mrs Gyan will be surprised at the news.

Doesn't look like we're in for nobody else so we may as well have a lovely LOL signing.

To increase the potential LOLs I've just put a tenner on us winning the league at 100/1.

Seems like a trouble maker. Could easily be another Drenthe situation.

Hopefully his national team manager has told said "if you mess my friends about I won't pick you".

Could do a decent job but personally I'm not a fan of these mercenary types. Rather see players who actually care about the club they represent to some degree.

Please no. This sounds worse than Drenthe, worse than Martin Keown, worse than Sean Evers. I can't think of anything as bad.

There are just players you like, good or not. Gyan was one of those. I don't care if he's good or shit now. For me if it would be amazing if he signed.

Same thing goes with Van der vaart. Also same thing goes with what I said about the kit and what I'd get on the back if he signed.

Am I the only one who is really unimpressed with a middle-aged average journeyman who hasn't played decent level football in years?

Gets a massive 'meh' from me

Hope its bollox

There aren't many as reliable as you gazzer.

Thanks for that. I guess we'll find out Gyans destination tomorrow.

I'm not overly impressed. Seems a bit of a nutter and has been in semi retirement for the past 3 years. I suspect all the attitude and none of the application. If he signs, I hope I'm wrong on that count but we've been here before and it's never gone well.
