We'll have no chance once Derby offer 25 million for him

This would obviously be an amazing signing but I think we would be priced out of the race.

Literally exactly the player we need. If we signed him and he stayed fit, I'd be confident of play-offs this season.

However, would we spend the >£5 million it would require? It would certainly be a signal of intent by the Thais.

I'm not sure we have that much money available to gamble.

they paid 10 last Jan, and signed him on 4.5yr deal. I reckon it will most likely be a loan until the end of the season. Of the teams quote we play most like b'mouth, so maybe?

I have a sneaky suspicion the Thai's will spend big at some point, especially if promotion looks to be on the cards.

Wow, two whole people, must be true then. Anyway thanks but no thanks to Afobe. Says something about him that Bournemouth want to offload him inside a year and he was pants last time he was here. Another Leroy Lita if you ask me, but whereas we had the benefit of Leroy's one good season, Wolves have already had that pleasure so it's a no from me and I'm out.

As far as I am aware the owners are not looking to sell but are looking for additional investment from the right sort of people. Believe that's been the case for the last year or so and why we have had rumours linking us with people such as Dmitry Rybolovlev.

As regards Afobe Bournemouth were mugs to pay £10m for him in the first place and just goes to show the total stupidity of clubs in the PL when buying players. If a deal were to happen I'd reckon it on being another loan for his services for the rest of the season.

Heard they would accept an offer in the region of 35mil. Considering they paid 50mil (?) it looks like they might be looking to make a run for it.

And..... Don't we already have a very similar (if as yet unproven) player in Yakou Meité?
