Desperate times for Cardiff if Bacuna is the answer to their problems.

I know we need to trim down the squad, but selling Ilori, Bacuna, and Meite, while keeping Meyler, McShane? Very strange.

Maybe noone has come in for the latter.

Yeah no f*cker is coming in for them. I worry Meyler might get brought back into the mix now Bacuna has gone which is depressing.

In fairness it is a lot easier to shift players like Ilori and Bacuna than McShane and Meyler.

Also, presume Kelly will stay if Bacuna goes.

Get rid of as many of the wasters as possible I say, slightly worried that these sales will be happening to pay for the loanee's though. Bacuna would be a high earner too if we got relegated

To be honest, Meite might be unhappy here. He tweeted a highlight reel of his goals the moment we announced Oliveira. That doesn't scream "happy and secure" to me...

Do we reckon we'll reinvest any of this today? Or is it just covering what we've already forked out on the loans?

to me this looks very much as though its do what we can to stay up with loanees, but the absolute key is to clear a lot of the expensive deadwood from the squad in case of relegation, to leave room for a youth based policy in the 3rd tier.

Am I the only one excited that we are finally involved in a proper TDD merry go round.
No love lost over the outs and a proper clear out happening for good or worse i am fully invested into to it.

needed to happen. I thought they would really struggle to shift 5-6 of this squad let alone the 10+ that's required, but they've done a grand job so far.
happy with the ins too. so far

"Up to £3m", so probably based on Cardiff surviving and whatnot.
