With Nelson Oliveria and Lew Baker coming in this window, does anyone think BT may well still have an influence in signings? Well documented we wanted both when he was here.

More likely we are using the influence of the "super agent" that represents Gomes.

Tevrenden is still part of the overall management team of the owners so quite possible Gomes has spoken to him to get thoughts on options.

Would be sensible to consider previously identified targets, with little time/experience to work in.

I am sure the club has everything on record and is available to JG as and when he wants it.

No chance proved by the fact we haven't signed a single dutch winger.

Roy Beerens, Pelle Clement can technically play there too so yes we did.

So we did, as I suggested, sign a single Dutch winger.

Glad we are on the same page !

Tevreden is not going to have worked in isolation. He'll have been using scouts and contacts to help him decide who to target.

Many of those same scouts and contacts will still be working with the club.

So what you're saying is we're rotten to the core?

No, that's not what I'm saying.

But I'm not sure we were far off not that long ago though.
