Wallsy Played well today by all accounts. So much for JLow and his “were just doing the lad a favour letting him train with us” Clearly were trailing him and more importantly his fitness after his injuries. Could be a shrewd signing if we can keep the boy fit.

Anybody know what type of cm he is like

Rumour is a 12 month contract is on the table if he proves his fitness. Might need wrapping up in cotton wool but he’s clearly got something about him.

Not in the tour party. A contract now seems unlikely.

We’re in advanced talks with the player. Apparently length of contract could be the sticking point. Deal was expected by now. His performance tonight has really let him down too. Looked completely disinterested.

Surprised he isn’t now just taking a 1 year given his history

Had some nice touches. Disinterested is harsh, but certainly didn’t play too well

'Length of the contract' is bollocks. He'll accept 1 year with an option, and that is what would be on the table, IF something is on the table.

Looked very interested to me, committed and charging around the pitch. Just didn't look anywhere near Rino's ability.

A year fit and playing in the U23s might do him the world of good, but he didn't seem first team material.

Well if what the Chronicle have been told is true, he wants a longer deal than we’re offering. With his injury record I’d be offering a 12 month contract with the option of an additional year.

Will be interesting to see how Boadu copes with 90 minutes on Tuesday. Last night against Sevilla he looked committed and determined in the tackle but slow in his passing and movement. He represents a big gamble for the club given his recent form and injuries.

Maybe for 10-15 minutes. Completely dropped off after and was anonymous for much of the half..
Holsgrove carried him a lot, looks a cracking player - good set pieces on him too.

Do we know if this guy is still around or have we dropped interest?

Was on the tour so if he’s still a going concern I’d expect him to be involved tomorrow (unless he’s got injured of course).

Assume we are no longer interested as not involved today and guess he would have been signed up by now if we wanted him
