blythspartan Hopefully, we can find one because if not I can’t see how on earth we’ll score enough goals to keep us up.

How would Pauno set us up if Puscas gets injured, which is quite likely? I am not great with football tactics/formations and tbh I like a good old fashioned 4-4-2.

Possibly exactly the same but with Jahmari Clarke starting and the kid who's name I haven't learnt how to spell yet on the bench

Ehibinitatom. Thats my guess. I'm going to go now and check how close I was.

EDIT: Ehibhationham - not even close.

OK, shouldn't take too long for that to go in.

No idea how you say it, but that seems the easiest way to break it down for spelling.

Oh god, learning to spell something. How elitist.

If Forest want Holmes, I’d ask for cash and Lyle Taylor who could still get goals at this level.

Think I want him to become a regular now just to see Westwood’s attempt to spell his name each week

See the logic but not sure getting rid of Holmes now makes sense. If anyone is going to Forest today, I would imagine it is Laurent and that would be less of a loss than it looked 2 weeks ago (though still a loss). Would have no issue with Taylor coming here as part of any deal if the EFL allow and he is happy with the max 8.5k we can offer.

Though not 100% sure he would be the right fit.

Taylor might be a problem. His views on BLM might go down badly with his team-mates.

Wonder if Adam Idah is available from norwich now that they've signed a couple of strikers.

An option?

If Watford cover his wages or the bulk thereof, it could have a very Jason Roberts feel to it.

Would take Deeney any day on that basis

Deeney off to Birmingham City apparently.

Nah, they won't loan him this side of Christmas. Hopes he would break through this season.

Reading are in talks to sign ex-Newcastle striker Andy Carroll on a free transfer, as per @SportsPeteO on Twitter

Pete O'Rourke reporting we are in negotiations with Andy Carroll.

It is easy to laugh at Andy Carroll and call him a flop but on his day and when fit he is a force.

Brogue Well. I know this would go down like a fart in a lift but there is one ex prem target man out of contract at the moment who would probably join a champ team. Problem is his fitness and wages but he did play 18 league games last season and needs to realistic with his wage demands. He ain’t getting a premier league gig again. we are in a desperate situation which call for desperate measures. Ladies and gentlemen I give you….. Andy Carroll
