Snowflake Royal Sounds good.

We're pretty well stocked on the right though. It's the left and centre that is the glaringly obvious problem.

Increasingly disillusioned that the club don't seem to recognise the actual difficiencies in the squad still.

He’s a central midfielder. But just one who can cover RB

See the edit. Was going by stranded's post which is apparently wrong.

Right side was taken from his Transfermarkt page, happy to be wrong.

Yeah, no slight intended. It's not like anyone should be expected to have an encyclopedic knowledge of every player's permission. I wouldn't exactly trust whoscored to be better than transfermarket either.

Sutekh
blythspartan This would be a great signing for us tbh. Hopefully, we can keep it quiet from Cardiff and Stoke. Other than Ian Harte have we ever signed any other players who have played for Leeds? Not usually a side we do business with.

Think the following have turned out for both Reading and Leeds and various points in their careers:

Michael Duberry
Alan Maybury
Andy Wright
Dan Harding
Darren O’Dea
Mo Barrow
Jimmy Kebe
Noel Hunt
Lewis Baker
Andy Hughes
Billy Sharp

Darius Henderson
Shaun Allaway - young keeper they bought in Pardew's time. We kept Ashcroft - won that one.

I'd be surprised if we got him. He's probably on similar wages to Swift but imagine we'd be able to pay maybe half of them.

Would be a coup if this one happens. He bossed midfield the year Leeds went up

He made five starts for them that season. He's probably on much less than half of what Swift was earning.

Depends if he's signed a contract since promotion. £20k is piss all in the Prem. I'd say it's unlikely he's on less than £10k, let alone much less.

We have no idea about the wages that players get-wasn't Kalvin Phillips (their top player and full England international) on something like £40,000?
If so, I wouldn't think that this youngster is on a big deal.

BTW from bits of games I have seen Leeds play over the past 2 seasons he has come on as sub quite a lot and played all over the place, so genuinely versatile.

He's not a regular member of their first team squad, and they're not Arsenal or Chelsea who will give silly money to kids.

My guess is that he's being paid roughly what we paid Jay Tabb or Hope Akpan.

17k according to that salary sport site. Sounds about right

Should probably raise that with jimmy or SCIAG then, rather than me.

Not sure what you mean by that. It’s a general observation.
Only thing we can know is there is a defined limit to what we can pay players. We won’t be pursuing anyone we can’t get for that amount.

Looking at the way a fair few teams in the Championship have already bolstered their midfield this season who’d hope that we’d have a decent chance of signing him.

Daily Mail saying he will be offloaded to us this week. Good signing if true.
