Total career according to Transfermarkt

59 games in the National League with Woking and Solihill Moors
34 games in League 2 with Yeovil
16 games in League 1 with Accrington
28 games in the Championship with Hull
13 games in the Scottish Premiership with Ross County

20 assorted cup games.

Career has gone NL - L2 - Scottish Premiership - L1 - Championship

All on loan, so a permanent move to top end L1 makes the most sense as his next move but a steady upwards trajectory in his career to date only recent curtailed by injury. Just the sort of player we should be looking to sign.

He's 24 as well, which means he's likely still a few years from his peak. He's good enough to be the first choice keeper and would have resell value going forward. Exactly the sort of player we should be targeting.

windermereROYAL Played 12 times for Hull keeping one clean sheet, some of his other clubs were Solihull moors, Woking and Accrington, this doesn`t leap off the page at me.

Season 20/21 7 clean sheets in his 16 league matches and having the highest save percentage in the Championship at 79.5 percent

As of 5 November 2018, he was the "only teenage goalkeeper currently in English football's professional ranks to have racked up over 100 appearances in the senior game

Sounds like someone worth a punt while CBC gets a loan deal somewhere in the 4th division or National League. Actually rather him than Bouzanis as Baxter is young, has good experience for his age and is presumably burning to succeed so will hopefully just need the right coaching (who is the 'keeper coach at Reading these days?). Of course getting to watch him may change that sentiment...

Think goalie coach is still Tony Warner

Expect Chris Wilder will bring in Paddy Kenny as they were together at Sheff Utd.

I’m sure I saw comments last year that CBC needed a loan spell at a L1 or L2 club.

Now we’re in L1, he needs a loan spell at a L2 or NL club.

L1 was always massively unrealistic for a 19/20 year old. I mean he played a handful of games in NLS in 21/22, so he was never going to jump 3 divisions in a year or two off a dozen appearances.

We've subsequently seen him start a Championship game and whilst there's lots of potential, he's clearly nothing like ready for our first team.

Personally, I'm not sure if he's better off with a season of U23 Academy games before a loan to NL/L2 side.

Chelsea goalkeeper Nathan Baxter is a target for Maccabi Haifa this summer after being told he can leave Stamford Bridge on a free transfer.

The club have been tracking the 24-year-old for over a year, after discovering his Jewish ancestry and is able to join the squad without counting towards overseas quotas, and have lodged several offers to lure him to Haifa.

The goalkeeper, who recently enjoyed a loan spell at Hull City, is also of interest to Reading but remains unwilling to drop down to League One after two seasons in the Championship along with previous experience in the Scottish Premiership with Ross County.

The 15-time Israeli champions can offer Baxter a run in the Champions League and are keen to wrap up a deal before their first-round qualifier in the middle of July.

Baxter, who was born in London to parents of Jewish descent, has played over 200 senior matches and won a host of youth trophies at Stamford Bridge.

He will leave, however, having not played a senior match for Chelsea after 17 years with the club.

The fact they have made several bids might indicate to me that he would prefer to stay in England.

If this isn't happening I would legit be interested in whichever Rotherham keeper is deemed second choice as both have great stats and whoever doesn't have the #1 shirt next season could well be tempted by a move if offered #1 elsewhere
