brendywendy Reading FC transfers

Reading are hoping to complete a double signing in the coming days with Kevin Mirallas and Mathieu Debuchy both joining from lille for a believed combined fee of £8m. Reading also want to bring Tom Soares to the club, he has strong links to the town as he was born there and his brother Louie used to be a Reading player. Reading are also looking at Cardiff's Joe Ledley and newly promoted Derby's Dean Leacock.
Hayden Mullins will NOT be joining nor will koumas.

On the way out of the madejski will be:
Shane Long on a seasons long loan to Leicester
Stephen Hunt to Villa
Alan Bennet will move to Derby as part of the leacock deal
Sam Sodje will make his move to WBA permanent

Sulky Hyeon is set to sign for FuLOLham for £2m, leaving Reading fans in a state of laughter.

wish tossers would stop saying this rubbish
seol will not leave, he is too good, and is too important to our revenue raising ability in the far east
plus i tip him to do well in his second season, like drogba!!!

Would that be second season syndrome ?

I'd be happy with those signings. Want Hunt to stay though

Andy Cole is on his way to Reading. Steve Coppell wants the experience and feels Cole has one final season at the highest level left in him.

That's two about Andy Cole in as many days.

EDIT: Now this.........

Craig Beattie will snub Sheffield United to join Steve Coppell at Reading. Coppell is apparently a long term admirer of the Striker and a fee believed to be around £850, 000 rising to £1, 250, 000 upon success with the Berkshire outfit.

Reading will announce the signing of MK Don's striker Izzle McLeod this week. Leicester were thought to be leading the chase but Reading moved for the striker at the 11th hour as Leroy Lita is set to leave Reading for Newcastle in a £7m deal.

7 millions a bit more like it, but i really hope this isnt true

I doubt any of these rumours are true.

Considering the source of this info, I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Has this site ever predicted a rumour for Reading that then actually happened?

Worth bookmarking for the sheer laughter it brings alone.

I started a Sam Sodje to Reading thread, and was told I was boring and predictable.

You could always start a Shane Long to go on loan thread ... might raise your credibility. But avoid Robbie Fowler ones ....

Reading will sign Kieran Richardson and Serbian Under 21 midfielder Stefan Babovic in the next few weeks. Babovic is seen as the ideal replacement for Steve Sidwell and is quoted as being interested in moving to the Premier League.

some of that serbian midfield looked a bit tasty
not sure though, think we have enough racists here already
and i hate richardson for england and man u
but for reading maybe not

If Richardson comes then I renounce my claim to AP's season ticket for £200 should we sell Lita.

Kieran Richardson is totally over-rated.
Pacey but not much else.

I'd be disappointed if we signed him.

Two bits of gossip Reading fans. Lee Cook will sign next week after we agreed a few with QPR, and Hayden Mullin's has agreed terms. We just that striker now!
