RUMOUR - Michael Kightly

by nickbob_sexypants » 04 Jun 2008 12:16

Apparently we have already made offer.

IMO would be an excellent signing but with all those other teams mentioned I don't think we would have much chance.

Reading have already made a bid but they appear to have little chance of landing him

The cynic in me says we're only bidding because we know we have no chance

If we had bid 12-18 months ago we stood a chance - but Coppell didnt want to ambush any of his merry men so we stayed with the tried and trusted.

There's no chance of getting him now - Premiership clubs are sniffing around him - so why would he want to come to a club which has no more ambition than the club he is at currently- admittedly they are pretty sh*te !- but they still have ambition"

First team football and a better chance of promotion - then first team football in the prem?

Chance to work with Coppell and learn from a great winger, in a team that is built around great wing play?

Just possibilities

Arnie_Pie 0% chance

depends doesn't it - if prem clubs bid and are accepted then 0%
but
if we are the only ones who bid or are accepted then we have every chance!

A superb signing, and as many have said one that we should have gone for last year. No chance now, but I would be delighted.

It would be a true LOL if we waited until relegation was confirmed and Little regained fitness before bidding for this guy

If only we could promise him some game time and that he wouldn't end up sitting on the bench all season like Sidwell at Chelsea, and err, Fae.

lol@this rumour, wolves are a much bigger club than us with more ambition. It would be like blackburn trying to sign berbatov, get a life lads.

Just out of interest, how many seasons have Wolves spent in the premier League in the last 15 - 20 years?

Just out of interest, how many times have they finished above us in the last 5 years?

Totally irrelevant - league position/ tenure does not dictate size of club

As much as it gauls me to say , Wolves are a bigger club than Reading - nothing else to say
