Reading FC Hospitality Tickets

by semtex1871 » 07 Aug 2014 20:43

http://www.readingfc.co.uk/documents/rfc-matchday-royal-suite154-1714568.pdf

I am selling 2 x Adult & 1 x Child* tickets in the Royal Suite for the Reading v Fulham match on Sept 13.

These tickets would normally cost in excess of £350, however I am selling for the bargain price of £200.

This is an ideal opportunity to sample a fantastic day of hospitality at a bargain price.

*the child ticket could be upgraded to an adult ticket for cIrca £60.......

Whose hospitality are you selling? - Not someone whose going to ask who the buyers and what happened to the important business clients they gave the tickets to are when they turn up and sit at their table I hope.

I did the hospitality thing once with a free ticket, not really for me.

They are my tickets that I'm selling. I have a season ticket for the Royal Suite but can't make this game....

....I have informed the commercial team that we won't be there for these games and they will get the tickets made out in the buyers name , tickets will be collected from main reception on arrival.

This is 100% honest.....no shenanigans.

Where did you sit?

What was included?
Free ticket for a seat in the North/West corner for the Reading v Man Utd game, free programme, free pre-match dinner in the princes suite, free tea and biscuits at half time, a draw/raffle of some sort, some players coming round (Glen Little was one of them) and I think there was Sky Sports News on a screen...... I had to wear a shirt, tie, trousers, shoes. The actual game was a cracker and I met some interesting randoms - A Sheffield Utd fan, A Chelsea fan (he was the guy who had the tickets) and a few other neutrals. No Reading or Man Utd fans in the group. I was offered the free ticket the day before the game as one of the directors at work couldn't go, I only took it so a mate of mine could take my ST seat as he had family commitments and didn't have enough points to buy a ticket before they sold out.

I would have preferred to sit in my own seat chatting to those around me or keeping myself to myself.

Definitely was worth doing just as a one-off, particularly as it was free in my case but not something I'd want to do again for a match I already have a regular ticket for.

I'd rather give them away then let someone buy them for £50.....

let's face it, if you can't afford to pay for hospitality, then you're not the type of person I want sitting at my table.....

I too will offer £0, plus the added bonus of being a woman and having previously lived in Marlow. Oh the stories I could tell....etc etc.

Do you have a sliding scale then as I see you're looking to attract those in the £200 price range rather than those in the supposed face value £350 range.

Maybe lower it to £199.99 as that's what supermarkets do to boost sales..... or jazz it up as 2 for 1 on the adult tickets with the kids thrown in free, all for £200 in total.
