Looks like it is built on scaffolding.

Exciting times

As I understand it the details of this are going to be made public from the start of next week.

Am I just reading too much into those sketches, or are they really going to despense with the 'corner' seats? :?

Does anyone know whether

a) How long it will take to expand the stadium and

b) will any of the stands be closed whilst they do this

Those in the Upper West want more space between themselves and the masses - those grubby oeics, who make all that noise and spoil their spectacle!

I'd expect :

a) Close season (May to Aug) so don't expect any concerts next summer

b) Not if they finish it all on time - I understand it's essentially putting extra supports outside the East Stand and then lower a new upper tier onto these bit by bit - Lower East should stay virtually unchanged.

They seem to be moving at a rapid rate of knots with this.

Bit concerned about the Artist's impressions personally. He/She appears to have left the hotel off

The questionnaire looks interesting - even dealing with car parking.

Worryingly assuming no more private car parking space

The questionnaire How would you suggest that access to the ground could be improved, assuming no more private car parking space were made available?
If you live / work nearby, do you ever experience problems with overspill visitor parking (for example during match days)? If so, what form do the problems take?

You can get yourself a copy of the consultation summary report too!

Alot for 4 months, however I'd expect no roof for most of the season - more complaints about the accoustics no doubt.

I'd also build in stages if the design allows - i.e. East first, then North and Sarf the following season.

I'd like to see a cross section showing the old and new parts... like wembley did.

Encouraging that we look to be moving in the right direction and I'm sure better plans will emerge in the next few weeks in terms of drawings.
