Funny you should say that, they've got a picture of him in the article.

It's amazing, they can bump off JFK, Jill Dando and Princess Di and yet the twat with the bell still lives.

Wigan 72

I would have thought you'd need a decent crowd to be noisy - at the JJB this year they were the quietest fans I've ever seen.

Could only hear Reading fans today on ESPN. Made so much noise. Good work lads.

I'm surprised Arsenal so high ... would be lower if they measured the noise in the last 10 minutes

Pompey 97
Newcastle 96
Liverpool 96

Iv just got back from the Liverpool game (living in Birmingham) and there is no way that they can be the third loudest in the prem. They only started singing once they went 2-0 up and even then we sang more than they did.

Portsmouth game this season was probably the loudest home support I have ever seen though. Theres not many of them but they sure do make a racket

credit should go to the teams like the blades pompy and you guys. generating that sort of noise with half the size crowds of man u the bar codes etc.

thought you lot were the best fans to come to the lane this year, just about the only side not to wait to be entertained but give full backing for the full game.

the blades travalling support has been terrific as well, spoke to an everton mate who couldn't believe the noise we made in the second half against them said it was the loudest he could remember. and i have to say i was loving the 20 minuet rendition of sheff united.

I was in the KOP and didn't hear a peep out of Reading. What you have to remember is that was a nothing game for Liverpool, equivelent of us playing Crewe at home last season.

Not having a dig, but just think that if the Blades fans had actually sung when Reading were at Bramall Lane you might have been top 3.

a goal after 17 seconds has a strange way of killing an atmopshere.

have to say its great in the prem because there is less of a feeling of we should be winning this why aren't we? and more desire to support the side and back them as thats the only thing you can do.

i suspect the majoity of the noise came after jagielkas winner

Spot on - I suspect if the poll had been taken on our 2nd half of last season (when the crowd numbers were very similar to now) we'd be a whole lot lower.

Being in the opposite side of the stadium it would be hard to hear us singing anyway. I only heard about 1 song from the KOP all game, thats not to say that you only sang once. We sang all game and outsang the Liverpool fans around us. That was more than good enough for me
