EASTENDER MARKY Hopefully a Reading win. I will be cheering the boys on from an un named pub that's showing the game in Reading. 8)

Is that certain flowery and sting-ey pub showing the game then?

yes

Excellent, will head down there unless America's bird is being most accomodating.

Huntley & Palmer The English rugby team has one on their badge and the second item is on the Scottish rugby badge

See that's where it confused me! I'm talking about a pub in North Reading. P.S, I think the marque is out of action tomorrow night because it's Poker Night?

Would assume so, though they might have it on at the same time. Sat out there in the cold watching the Man U v Chelsea game the other week

[quote="No Hoops"]Leave for Heathrow at 1.30
Have a few Beers
Get on plane at 4.05
Get off plane at 17.15
Get to hotel at 6.30

I'm on that plane, and am wishing I'd booked an earlier one.... I checked and today's 16.05 flight departed nearer five o' clock. If it doesn't leave on time tomorrow gonna be a close run thing ....

The BBC previews it like this .. ..

The Magpies last met Reading in the 1989-1990 season when they eliminated them from both the League Cup and FA Cup.

READING have already won eight times in the Premiership - only the top two, Manchester United and Chelsea, have won more. A point from this clash will shoot them up to third place - their highest ever placing in their 135-year history.

Steve Coppell's side has been described as the "Wigan" of last season. The newcomers have taken the Premiership by storm, racing to a top six place with 25 points after 15 games. That keeps pace with the Latics' performance of 12 months ago, but if the Royals take something from this game they will better Wigan's points return at the same stage.

This is the first ever League clash between these clubs.

Newcastle 1 (Martens) Reading 1 (Shorey)

And many European Tour renditions come the final whistle when we go third.

Interesting that bookies are cutting the odds on a Reading win.Got them at 3/1 a few days back now moved in to 5/2 (bet365). Maybe it was my tenner that did it! Newcastle currently 11/10 the draw is 11/5.

I'll go for my usual pessimism: 4:0 to the toon! 4 og's by Doyle.
