Anyone know what the view from his former club (Stoke) is on how good he is? What was the reaction when we signed him? Where is our Stoke rep when we need him (IcelandicStokie or something)?

[quote="E. Andrew"]from that list halls is the only "wasted" signing./quote]was none too shabby at Anfield tho'

expect him to go out on loan in the New Year, but Copps (and more to the point, his wizened scouts) had good reason to sign him.

Not all players hit it off at first, just look at our back four...........all got slagged off in post match analysis (by you the experts) at some stage in their formative seasons (Ivar especially).

I've watched Hallsy several times, I have my opinion of him, but the only opinion that counts is Sir Steves.

Meantime, give the guy a break, shut-the-f3ck-up and maybe.......just maybe..........you will be eating your words in a couple of years.

With Murty a doubt for tomorrow and Sodje suspended, who will start right back? Bikey, Halls or De La Cruz. Could be an opening for Halls.

About the same time we signed Halls, Southampton signed Sweden's sometime right back Ostlund. I'd rather have that neanderthal in the side if we need someone with a beard in the squad.

RG30 Last I heard he was injured but haven't heard anything since. With the transfer window opening Monday, I would be amazed if he hadn't left us come Febuary.

Here's hoping. And Useless De La Cruz can get off the wage bill too.

 De La Cruz was bought in as cover, didn't see to many other full backs who had Premiership experience on the free transfer list.
