just a little light hearted gossip to start the day...i'm sorry it didn't make a "better argued dispute" how short sighted of me. However, i maintain that Hahnemann is past it, not a popular thought maybe. i would get more constructive thoughts from someone who supports another team. i thought everyone here had a common interest?

I just love it when things are going bad and, suddenly, you get all these new posters appearing on the board all spouting complete rubbish. :D

hanneman has been immense recently
admittedly he will be pushed hard next season and probably lose his 1st choice berth, but a very inexperienced new boy keeper isnt what we need right now

the vast majority of goals are due to the opposition waltzing through our midfield without challenge
and our increasingly panicky defence

I think we need to bring in a new keeper .( Hopefully for next year and still in the Prem)
Funny how many were calling Marcus a Cnut a couple of months ago , now after 1 1/2 good games he is God !

Nah. That's one's just crap whereas this is genuine entertainment.

Perhaps it would be prudent of me to post the following threads to save everyone time later:

New right back
New left back
New centre half (x2)
New right winger
New left winger
New central midfielder (x2, preferably ginger)
New striker (x2)
New assistant manager*
New defensive coach
New goalkeeping coach
New youth coach
New scout (x4, preferably with knowledge of the Premier League)
New director of football
New fan (x24,000)
New opposition
New referee
New Match of the Day editor
New Jeff Stelling
New Rupert Murdoch
New God

jimbangg He simply isn't tall enough or good enough to play for RFC any more. Any thoughts?

Yes, but most of my thoughts relate to the mindlessness of this quote - so I'll keep them to myself for a while.

Hahnemann is quality, i think you should look at the whole team before you single out one man. Not saying anything bad they just haven't put the performances in as last season - or teams know our game plan.
Besides how good was he against united and chelski and not forgetting the penalty save on sat.

The comment about his arms not being long enough and him being too short, I think your right I met him once and he is really short with wooden arms. He wear's youth size shirts thats why he can offered to give them away.
It's amazing how the football pitch can make someone look bigger.....konb...

It saddens me to see how inarticulate most on this thread are; instead of a constructive dialogue ppl sign off with "cnut" or "konb" well, how very clever and grown up of you. If Hahnemann is the 1st choice keeper this time next year i will take back what i said. Funnily enough i am a fan of this club too, i would to see us remain in the premier league for as long as is possible. We need a new goalkeeper.

if you had started off the thread with, 'we need a new goalkeeper for next season' i think most of us would of agreed but tbh your statement was ridcuilous after he has performed so well in the past few games
