Row Z Royal
Smoking Kills Dancing Doe I'd prob go as far as to say that Balague is the most reliable journo around.

Agreed.

However, he's a Sky man, not Beeb.

He is both. Has a slot on Radio 5

If I were Villa I'd take silly money for him, £20m and above is pretty much silly money

Villa paid £12.5M for him and are paying him a fairly hefty wage already so would have spent close to £20M on him since he has been there.

Some talk Chelsea may get involved, espicially with their need for both young and English born players. Reckon they could push a bidding war up to near £30m. Christ if Everton got nearly £20m for Lescott, Villa may hold out for £40m!!

The fact United won't even enter the race says a lot, both about the state they are in, but also how inflated City and Chelsea have made the market.

The sooner a wage limit and budget caps come in the better.

If people won't more than £50k a week, go abroad. But we'll all know why they have done it. Not pretending that signing a new £100k plus proves ur loyality to a club.

12.5 is a bit silly to be fair.

would they include what they've spent on wages in the calculation? you could argue that he's been good value for his salary
