That header was superb, much harder to do than with the feet. And it was all planned rather than opportunistic. I'd go with that.

Can't agree. It's quite hard to get a volley in when the ball is eight feet off the ground

Tell that to Leroy Lita and Kevin Doyle.

I did and they agree with me. An overhead kick is probably about 5-6 feet off the ground, 7 at a big push.

I've got most of these on vid that I've nicked from the Beeb. I'll try and add them ASAP so you can see what others are talking about.

That would be excellent Ben. Then people could view them and vote for the best one!

I would vote for Hunt's goal this Saturday past. Not for the goal itself but what went before it to make it possible. And Karacan's @ Deepdale is right up there too.

Kebe's goal against Barnsley at home. A real rarity as he headed it really cleanly. Probably not the most spectacular goal but we were down to 10 men at the time and it looked like we might get nothing from the match.

Another contender, Shane Long's 25-yarder at QPR, lovely strike.

A List?

A Karacan at Preston (Volley from a Corner)
B Long at QPR (Super 25-yard shot)
C Harte at Ipswich (Unstoppable Free Kick)
D Harte at Forest (Great Free Kick)
E Kebe home to Leicester (great run by Shane, and good movement from Kebe)
F Hunt home to Leicester (for Kebe's run, and the finish was clinical)
G McAnuff home to Leicester (brilliant work by Kebe, great work by McAnuff)
H Karacan's header at Scunthorpe
I Karacan's brilliant glancing header from Hunt's pin-point cross home to Doncaster
J Long's header from a defence-splitting cross from Harte (home, game?) Best cross I've seen in a long time
K Gylfi chip at Leicester Great team goal and brilliantly cool finish
L Gylfi 20-yarder home to Scunthorpe.
M Hunt's finish from great through ball by Karacan (Home Norwich?)
N Manset's goal at Barnsley (for the brilliant work by Shane)

any more. We've had some great goals this year.
